How to Register for a MARINA MISMO Account in English. If you are a seafarer who needs to apply for or renew your STCW certificates, you will need to register for a MARINA MISMO account. MISMO stands for Marina Integrated Seafarer Management Online, and it is the online system that MARINA uses to process applications, schedule appointments, and issue certificates. In this blog post, we will guide you on how to create a MARINA MISMO account in English.

Step 1: Go to the MARINA MISMO account website

The first step is to visit the official website of MARINA MISMO at this official link. You will see a welcome page with some information about the system and the services it offers. You will also see two buttons: one for signing in and one for signing up. If you already have an account, you can sign in using your email and password. If you don’t have an account yet, you will need to sign up first.

Step 2: Sign up for a new account.

To sign up for a new account, click on the “Sign Up” button on the welcome page. You will be redirected to a registration form where you will need to provide some personal information, such as your name, date of birth, gender, nationality, contact number, email address, and password. You will also need to agree to the terms and conditions of the system and verify that you are not a robot. After filling out the form, click on the “Create Account” button at the bottom.

Step 3: Verify your email address.

After creating your account, you will receive an email from MARINA MISMO with a verification link. You will need to click on this link to activate your account and confirm your email address. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, check your spam or junk folder. If you still don’t receive the email after a few minutes, you can request for a new verification link by clicking on the “Resend Verification Email” button on the sign-in page.

Step 4: Complete your profile

Once you verify your email address, you can sign in to your MARINA MISMO account using your email and password. You will be taken to your dashboard where you can see your profile, appointments, applications, certificates, and notifications. To complete your profile, click on the “Edit Profile” button on the top right corner of the page. You will need to upload a photo of yourself and fill out some additional information, such as your address, educational attainment, seafarer’s identification number (SIN), and seafarer’s registration number (SRN). You will also need to upload scanned copies of your documents, such as your passport, seaman’s book, basic training certificate, medical certificate, and other relevant certificates. Make sure that all the information and documents you provide are accurate and complete.

Step 5: Apply for or renew your STCW certificates marina mismo account

After completing your profile, you can now apply for or renew your STCW certificates using the MARINA MISMO system. To do this, click on the “Apply Now” button on your dashboard. You will be asked to choose the type of application you want to make: issuance, revalidation, or replacement of certificates. You will then be asked to select the specific certificate or endorsement you want to apply for or renew. You will also need to pay the corresponding fees online using a credit card or an e-wallet service. After paying the fees, you will be able to schedule an appointment with MARINA for the evaluation of your application and the release of your certificate. You will receive an email confirmation with the details of your appointment.

Step 6: Attend your appointment and claim your certificate

The last step is to attend your appointment with MARINA on the date and time that you selected. You will need to bring a printed copy of your appointment confirmation email and a valid ID with you. You will also need to wear a face mask and observe social distancing protocols at the MARINA office. During your appointment, a MARINA officer will evaluate your application and verify your documents. If everything is in order, you will be issued your STCW certificate or endorsement.
