Captain of container carrier was found to be missing from his cabin by the crew before there arrival on Port Klang. The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) started search operation after the vessel staff sent a distress call. The name of the ship is MV HARBOUR NEPTUNE.
Later on 19th evening MMEA was able to find and rescue the 41 year old captain. He was floating in the water with his life jacket on. All the crew members including master have been quarantined now on the ship. All of them tested negative. An investigation have been launched in this matter, as how this all happened.
The vessel was heading from Pasir Gudang port to Klang port while this incident took place. There were no injury to the captain.
