94 Passengers Evacuated Safely from Ferry after Engine Fails

For 94 passengers their ferry ride was not so good as the engine ferry on which they were in broke down in middle of the sea. This incident took place at Sunda Strait, south of Bakauheni, Sumatra. The ferry was en-route from Jakarta to Panjang.

After contacting for rescue, official sent two boats to safely rescue the passengers. Later their thermal scanning was done to make sure no one has symptoms of covid-19. Those who will be negative can continue their journey ahead. But some passengers around 17 in number didn’t want to go and remained on boats.

The investigation in to the reason, why engine failed is being carried out and also engine is being fixed. After that boat is supposed to go again ahead in its journey.
