News coming from Indonesia, that a major fire broke out on a tanker ship which was in dry dock for regular work. Name of tanker ship is Jag Leela and dry dock name is Waruna Shipyard in Belawan, Medan. Fire was huge as people could see smoke from very far. People could hear explosions taking place also. Around 6-7 fire trucks were present to extinguish the fire. As seen from the pictures, there is a major damage to the aft part of the ship.
The shipyard owns the ship and some maintenance work was taking place. Tanker ships usually have lot of fuel as cargo. What could be the reason of such fire is not known till now. A further investigation in this matter will tell the correct reasons for such incident happening.
