Several containers were blown away from ship OOCL UNITED KINGDOM by strong wind force in Belgium port of Zeebrugge Belgium. As per the port authority, empty containers were being offloaded during morning on 2nd May 2020. A sudden gush wind started to flow. This led few containers being thrown away in water and some fell on the pier. No one was injured in this incident. All the containers that fell were empty.
All the damaged container were taken off from the water and pier. As we can see in the photographs, the force of the wind was too much. The force can be seen by the extent of damage to the containers.
