Corona Update: MARINA welcomes home 327 stranded Filipino seafarers

Good news for the people of Philippines as 327 Filipino Seafarers who were stranded in two ships namely Costa Diadema and Costa Victoria safely came home back home. The crew was brought back from ITALY.

Following organizations played a key role in bringing back the stranded Filipino seafarers around the world.

The Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA)
Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA),
Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ)
Magsaysay Maritime Corporation (Manning Agency for the crew)

The mentioned seafarers have been kept under 14 day quarantine process as to rule out any kind of transmission from the crew members. They were directly taken to hotel from the airport.

MARINA along with other agencies have been regularly bringing stranded seafarers all around the globe.
