Ultra Large Container Ship ‘Mumbai Maersk’ was grounded near Bremerhaven container port on a shallow patch on 2nd February. All crew members are safe. There is no report of pollution and ship structure is stable for now.
Currently with the help of TUGS, ship is being tried to be taken out from the patch. Though traffic to the port is not disturbed, but helping team is also waiting for the high tides, so that it will be easier to refloat the vessel. Around 5 tugs are helping her to refloat it.
We are waiting for the safe refloating of the vessel and well being of the crew members.
