Drugs Found in Cargo Hold of Cargo Ship in Hamburg
Bulk Carrier named BUDVA, arrested by German police after search operation found large quantity of drugs in cargo hold of a bulk carrier ship. The ship was coming from Brasil via morocco. Right now all 23 crew are being investigated, though 1 crew has been arrested as well. The nationality of all the crew members is Montenegro.
In the past few years, the cases of drugs being found have increased a lot. They are usually put by smuggler network in much hidden parts of the ship, sometimes being welded to the structure as well. Sometimes it has been seen that some of the crew members are also involved in such crime. This is the reason by searching of ship and constant lookout to be maintained on ships during ports.
