Qualification: the candidates must be graduated in Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architects/ Automation Engineering from any AICTE approved college
Marks: min. 60% marks in final year and min. 60% marks in English subject in 10th and 12th standard or in Degree examinations.
Age: candidates should not be more than 28 years of age as on the date of commencement of course
Medical Fitness: candidates should be medically fit. Eyesight should be at least 6/12 in each eye without colour blindness and any other visual aid.
- Applied Nautical Science (diploma)
Qualification: the candidate should be passed with at least 60% marks in 10+2 examination from a recognized Board with PCM as main subjects

Vishwakarma Maritime Institute Admission Process
- It is compulsory for the aspirants to qualify in the Common Entrance Test conducted by Indian Maritime University (IMU)
- Candidates who qualify the CET conducted by IMU shall be selected on the basis of Psychometric test/ written test/ Interviews carried out by the institute.
