Recently a video of a bulk carrier- damaging a railway track went viral. Upon investigation it was found that the railway bridge which is in panama canal was completely destroyed by the ship and rail movement is no longer possible. It is reported that incident happened on 23rd June. Though there is no news of any major structural damages to the ship. Name of the vessel is BlueBill. As per the news, it will take at least two weeks to completely repair the Bridge. As you can see in the video, the impact was big. Luckily there was no movement of train on the bridge during collision.
