In a tragic incident which happened on Bulk Carrier DS SOFIE BULKER, Chief Officer Erdem Bulat Died while he was inspecting the cargo holds. As per the reports, in a regular job where the holds were being inspected, he went for checking the condition for cleanliness, and to have lost the balance while walking on the stairs and fell in the hold. 30 years old seafarer was from Turkey.
Ship Staff tried all the efforts and medications as suggested by the tele medical help, but it was not enough to save him. Ship was en-route from en route from Matadi, Democratic Republic of Congo, to Brazil. May His Soul Rest In peace.
