2 Seafarers Tests Positive for Covid-19 On Hapag Lloyd Ship

One of the Hapag Lloyd Container Ship, MV Montpellier, have reported two positive cases of COVID-19. The details of the two crew members have not been disclosed yet. The ship was arriving at Durban Port, South Africa and was in Middle East India Africa Express (MIAX) service. As per the precaution, ship has been asked to stay in the anchorage for 14 days for quarantine purpose. In this period ship will not be allowed for any kind of cargo operations to take place.
One thing which is very unusual coming is that the crew members who were tested positive for the virus didn’t had any symptoms of this. Company released this news in their official press release. Both the crew members are in isolation onboard only.
