By this time you must have filled up the application form for the IMU CET 2016. Before continuing our discussion on this topic, let’s learn more about this exam. Indian Maritime University, which is a sole body, having 26 maritime colleges affiliated to it conducts common entrance exam every year. This time, the exam will be conducted online. Some of the courses that are offered by IMU are: Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, B.Sc nautical sciences, MBA in maritime sector and Maritime Laws etc. For all these courses, IMU will be conducting CET. IMU CET 2016 Admit Card
imu cet 2016 Admit Card can be downloaded by the candidates from 27th April 2015 and the date of exam is 4th June 2016
. Candidate can download the admit card by going to their profile which they created while registering themselves for the IMU CET (Form Fill up). Kindly printout of the admit card and keep at a proper place. This is a very important document as without it, you won’t be allowed to go inside the test venue. All the details of candidates like name, exam centre will be there on it. For the information of candidates, you can practice three mock papers that will be provided to you, once you have completed the registration process. These mock test paper are just to make you aware about the type of questions, that a candidate can expect
in the exam.
IMU CET 2015 Exam Centers
As per the official record, more than ten thousand students appeared for this exam. Last year, IMU had 35 centers in 35 different cities for conducting exam. This year they are adding around 1 less city, cancelling Port Blair this year as exam cities because of less turnaround of candidates last year. Test centers will be written on the admit card of candidates. These are the names of cities, in which center will be put in:
Guwahati, New Delhi, Dehradun, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Coimbatore, Muzaffurpur Varanasi, Cochin, Mumbai, Trivandrum, Chennai, Meerut, Srinagar, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Siliguri, Bhopal, Kolkata, Ranchi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Allahabad, Jodhpur, Pune, Kanpur, Raipur, Jaipur, Agra, Hyderabad, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Kota, Shimla. So, in total there are 34 cities.
But if candidates in a city are not even minimum required number, then the test center will be shifted to another nearby city.
